632 athletes representing 114 teams at the World Qualifying Tournament – Busto Arsizio 2024.

25 days until the start of the World Qualifying Tournament – Busto Arsizio 2024 (Olympic Qualification World Tournament), assigned by the IOC to the CONI which has designated the FPI as the organizing committee, which will take place from March 3 to 11, 2024, at the E-Work Arena in Busto Arsizio.

A Kermesse that will allocate a total of 49 Olympic passes (21 for women and 28 for men – details below) in 13 weight categories (7 male – 6 female), with approximately 668 participating athletes from 114 countries.

The tournament will include a team of refugees and 2 Independent Neutral Athletes with Belarusian passports, while no Russian athletes have adhered to the registration procedure for independent neutral athletes.

For the first time in Italy, an international event of this magnitude will be held in Busto Arsizio (Varese), under the supervision of the Paris Boxing Unit (IOC) and with the strong support of the Minister for Sport and Youth – Department for Sport, the sponsorship of the Lombardy Region, and the patronage of the Municipality of Busto Arsizio, Federalberghi Varese, and the Chamber of Commerce.

After Busto Arsizio, the last chance for qualification will be the second World Tournament which will allocate between 20 and 23 passes for women (based on passes to be reserved for France) and between 25 and 28 for men (again based on passes still to be reserved for the host country) and will take place in Bangkok in May.
